Vidyo has raised
$11.5 million in funding, an
SEC filing reveals. Less than a year ago, the company
raised $25 million from several VC firms - this financing round brings its total to
$73.5 million. Vidyo enables multi-party video conferences that feature HD-quality, face-to-face interactions over regular IP networks using commodity desktop systems as endpoints. Its technologies leverage the H.264 Scalable Video Coding (SVC) standard.
